Christopher is a very special boy. He has Asberger's syndrom which makes him look different about a lot of things, that regular people would see as either normal or unusual. For example he do not like to be touched or be hugged. Therefore Christopher and his father puts their hands together when they meet or want to say that they care about eachother, in stead of hugging eachother. He also makes some rules for himself, like different numbers or colors of a car would decide if he would have a good day or not.
He also loves the truth, and therefore he also can't lie. He always tells the truth, and is a very kind boy. He don't have many friends, but take care of the few that he actually have. The fact that his mother died when he was 13 years old, also influenced Christopher. He is very clever a boy, who tries to do what he believes is the right thing.

Plot
The book is about a fifteen year old boy – Christopher Boone, who has Asperger Syndrome. He is very good in maths and he knows very little about human beings. He lives with his father, his mother died a few years ago by a heart attack. One day Christopher discovers Wellington - his neighbour’s dog dead outside with a big fork through him. The whole book is about Christopher who try’s to find out who the killer of the dog is. Later in the book he finds out that his mother is not really dead and that the killer of the dog is closer than he thinks…
